Saturday 14th June, 2pm
Russell Watson took to the (sound) waves on Saturday 14th June to give a special performance at this years International Mersey River Festival in Liverpool.
Russell climbed aboard the beautiful Tall Ship Mercedes for a unique charity concert. He performed a selection of popular songs including his latest charity single, The Homeground Anthem. Which then lead to an influx of sales of the CDs from the shop set up on the dock side.
Thank you to everybody that came down to support the Homeground Project.

As always, Russell performed from the heart and the performance ended with a huge round of applause. After the show, Russell even mentioned that the poignant words in the song had even brought tears to the eyes of some of the guests sitting in the front row.
HOMEGROUND consist of singer THEA, Uilleann piper & multi-instrumentalist BECKY TAYLOR, SEAMUS HEFFERNAN on bass, fiddle player JULIAN TAYLOR and RICHARD MOSS on guitar.
