Home Ground Projects is a unique social enterprise community interest company. Our objective is to carry out activities which benefit the community and in particular to provide assistance and support to older, disabled and vulnerable people who require assistance and support to remain in their own homes. We do this by raising funds in a wide variety of ways to enable us to develop and implement projects across the country alongside our partners.
We are currently developing several projects that are aimed at reducing the impact of isolation on vulnerable people and specifically veterans, their families and the wider community. To do this we are working closely with other ‘not for profit’ and Local Authority partners. We are constantly open to new ideas as to how we can assist local communities to engage in understanding the needs of their vulnerable or isolated neighbours and provide realistic solutions.
Homeground’s current project is to raise funds for four specialist charity organisations which actively support service personnel who return to the UK after being injured in theatres of war. The charities are The Falklands Veterans Foundation, Coming Home (Haig Trust) and The Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal. Funds will be raised through the sale of a charity record The HOMEGROUND Anthem (OUT NOW!) and concerts in Edinburgh and London. The concerts will be headlined by RUSSELL WATSON and will include many other artists.
